Free Yoga :)

Yoga in the city

My heart goes pitter patter whenever I am able to partake in a fun free event! This past week I took a free yoga lesson in the park along with at least 100 other people.  I went by myself and at one point I became very self-conscious when I took off my shoes and realized the soles of my feet where disgustingly black from pounding the pavement all day:(  My attitude at the beginning of the class was somewhat lackluster but once I allowed myself to let it go and enjoy  I learned quite a few things about myself; 1) I can focus even when there are horns and sirens blazing by in the background 2) I love spending time with myself and am no longer uncomfortable being by myself 3) Serenity allows my imagination to overflow 4) Lastly my confidence and self-assurance has finally settled deep within my soul and I am finally cool with me just as I am!

I am happy with the enlightening God has placed in my soul!!!!!!!!!In a future post I will elaborate on my life in Ghana but until then have a beautiful weekend 🙂 Try something new or something old that you haven’t done in long time and leave me a post about it!
